Hello and welcome! Or should it be heyup? R tha oreyt? - Thanks for stopping by.
12 years this coming December was the first time I stood on a rostrum in my local spiritualist church wearing a hoody with gravy down the front (didn’t notice it until I got up there!) But Jean (my tutor) being the lady she was made me! I don’t think the spirits was too bothered I looked a bit of a scruff. I went to watch her work and she waggled her finger over to me as soon as I walked in and said ‘you’re getting up here with me tonight ma love’ and to think were now doing close to 200 events per year is just mind blowing so first of all thank you for being a part of this journey with me.
Two main happenings in my life that brought me into mediumship – One was an accident when I was 12 years old involving me and the 219 bus. I was stood next to my own body, The second was a few years later when my nephew who passed to spirit came to visit me. Cutting a long story very short after attending a spiritualist church another medium who became my mentor gave me an amazing reading and told me that I had the ability to be able to do this and that’s why I had been seeing spirit Sadly she’s now passed away, but I was lucky to receive some really good mentoring over a period of around 5 years before I started working on my own to the public.
Spirit use every sense I have Imaginable to get messages across to people, They talk to me they show me visions, I smell things, I feel pain, I feel emotion, sometimes it’s a bit crazy as interpreting things can be whappy and I see the most craziest of things that mean nothing to me and sometimes even I question what words are about to come out of my mouth but I believe it’s one of the things that makes mediums unique. I don’t believe I’m special or different to anybody else I just think my senses are heightened to another level.
Many people ask me what the ‘spirit world’ is and ‘what it’s like’ well I believe the spirit world is right here with us and around us and when we die our one’s souls cross over to another vibration that some of us (mediums) can connect with. It’s like been here on earth but without the stresses of worrying about the numbers on the scales and the price of gas and leccy.
Spirit amazes me every day, I work 5 nights a week most week doing events and I love what I do my team I work with have become an extension of my family. Due to my schedule I’m not available for 1-1 sittings for the foreseeable. My shows aren’t like most other mediums, I truly believe we bring out the best in ourselves when we are being who we truly are, If I said being stood in front of an audience of just 50 people doesn’t makes me nervous id be lying so trying to be another person on top just wouldn’t work, I love to laugh and love to make others laugh, it helps raises the vibration and the energy of the room it’s in no way being disrespectful to spirit or the audience but it’s a big part of who I am, I understand my style isn’t to everyone’s taste but its where I’m most comfortable and believe we should be exactly who we are.
A lot of people think that I sit at creating spells and shuffling tarot cards when I’m not doing shows ha-ha, but I’m no different to you or anyone else and don’t think im too different to who you see on stage, well aside from the boots.. Maybe! I live an average life with my husband and a bulldog called tiny who’s about 40 kilos!! Don’t ask! Weekends are usually spent at our caravan eating and drinking! (Would of loved to have wrote here - mountain climbing and running……)
Look forward to hopefully seeing you at an event soon! Grant xxx
